Question: With all the added landscaping in the elevated areas of the Keystone interchange, NDOT historically has installed a safety type rail/fence for maintenance to be completed safely in these areas, without requiring temporary safety measures. Will NDOT be adding something like this or will the contractor have to include this for the initial landscaping install and two year period for the maintenance and than when NDOT takes over this, they will make sure that their maintenance personnel will follow all OSHA guidelines of working in elevated situations while maintaining the new irrigation and landscaping system. |
