| Question: Nightwork is required by the contract. Section 637.03.03 requires that a noise abatement plan is required. The majority of this work is along an active airport. With the loud noise levels of the existing environment and that stationary equipment or work areas will not be utilized, we request that that noise monitoring beyond the baseline reading, be the only requirement for measurement. If this is not acceptable, we propose to perform the baseline and one noise monitoring measurement for each type of work be utilized on this project. |
