Project Title: Consultant Support Services for Phase 2 of the Reno Spaghetti Bowl Project
Background: The Department is seeking to hire one qualified firm to perform, manage, and complete all necessary studies, documentation, and public and stakeholder outreach required to meet the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements for reevaluation of a design modification of the current alternative for the Second Phase of the Reno Spaghetti Bowl Project in Washoe County.
Project Scope: The Reno Spaghetti Bowl (RSB) Environmental Impact Study (EIS), completed in July of 2019, identified a number of improvements for the Corridor. Phase 2 of the Project will include, but not be limited to reconstruction of I-80 from E. McCarran Blvd., to just east of the RSB, replacement of bridge structure H-8666 which runs east/west over the Nugget Casino, for construction of a new interchange at Kietzke Lane, Project Management Services, public and private stakeholder communication and coordination, scheduling, traffic modeling, Subsurface Utility Exploration and Engineering (SUE), Cost Risk and Benefit/Cost Analysis, constructability reviews, value engineering, procurements, and any other tasks and services necessary for successful implementation of the Project Design and completion of the NEPA Process. Project Schedule: Approximately one year from the date an Agreement is executed.
