| Project Title: |
Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Maintenance and Repair for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Nevada Shared Radio System (NSRS)
|
|
| Background: |
The Service Provider will be responsible for the complete maintenance of one hundred fourteen HVAC systems located at eighty-eight communication sites and twenty-six fiber huts. This includes scheduled preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency servicing, with the possibility of adding new sites over time. The maintenance and repair of these HVAC systems are crucial for ensuring the reliable operation of communication systems that support law enforcement and public safety.
|
|
| Project Scope: |
The Service Provider will provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and anything else needed for regular preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency servicing of the one hundred fourteen (114) HVAC systems listed in Attachment A – HVAC Inventory and Locations (88 Communication Sites and 26 Fiber Huts). The State may add more sites in the future, and the Service Provider will need to service those sites as well.
Some locations are remote and require a four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle to access. The HVAC systems are in secure areas, so a DEPARTMENT employee will escort Service Provider staff while they are on site.
The Department has HVAC systems from various manufacturers. All work must follow relevant codes and each manufacturer’s maintenance schedule and recommendations.
Any repairs not covered by preventative maintenance, including emergency repairs, will be paid based on the hourly labor rate agreed upon with the selected Proposer.
See RFP for full Scope of Services.
